As a mother, you needed to impart everything you knew onto your children. Fawn tried her best to do so, and not mar them with her own paranoia over small things. So far, so good, she thought. They were all growing into really sweet, well behaved (for the most part) ladies. Eefie would teach them more on hunting, she reckoned, when they were a bit older.
For now though, she wanted to help them learn more about her own forte. Herbs.
Not everyone was cut out for healing, and she knew that perhaps Speck might not be able to hold still long enough to pay attention to such a ‘boring’ thing like plants.. But the others might. Or not at all. Either way, it was worth a try.
So with the idea of taking them on a little excursion along the south side of the Shoal, along the grassy section where some herbs grew that she could stalk up on, Fawn stood outside the alcove entrance, yipping softly for the girls. Those that were awake or willing to come anyway.
“Fox? Eve, Doe? Speck? C-come here please.”
Hopefully she wasn’t left hanging.
