After a day of rain the air was still heavy with humidity and Catrine was once again questioning her choice to come south. Back in Bor she was sure it was not this warm, not this humid. But then again, she almost certainly would not have had two darling pups of her own if she had stayed either. Instead Catrine searched out an old, large tree, close to the center of the hollow and stood in its shade - for all the good that did.
“Boys! Carrick, Cade!” She yelled clearly down towards the den. She had not outright abandoned her den yet, it was often cool underground still, and she had made it large enough that they all fit in there well enough, but she knew the boys spent more time around the hollow. She waited for their fluffy little bodies to come jostling up towards her.
“Senna! Albus!” She called after another moment. Their names brought a big smile to her face - she was so happy that they were both home again, and it was certainly time for them to meet her boys. Albus in particular, he ought to know his little brothers well if they were all going to remain a family here together.
