The seasons had passed by so quickly and, these days, Relic wasn’t even sure what he was supposed to be doing. He wanted to take a trip to the butte and meet Elliot, but he hadn’t created a proper plan for it yet. Besides planning, he was still trying to convince himself it was worth it to talk to the self-appointed King or if it would be a simple waste of his time. After all, he’d already made it clear to himself and everybody else that the Covenant wouldn’t be taking part in whatever assassination attempt the Empire wanted to carry out against Elliot. If it was still in the works.
As the days passed, Relic was comfortable in hanging outside of the relations of his members to allow them to get to know one another. In the meantime, he’d been wandering about the overlook and the pass patrolling, as per usual. Every now and then he’d chase the occasional small prey to occupy his mind when he was lacking thoughts to fill it.
Now, he was making his way to the top of the hill his den was located in. The sky was cloudless and the moon was hardly a sliver of a crescent, giving way to the full majesty of the stars and billowing stardust trails that led the eye in every direction. This was where Relic would bide his time, catching up with the rest of the universe as he lulled himself to sleep.
