Approaching the edge of the hollow, Sunfall let out a few barks to announce their presence. Hopefully Nanook was around, but this conversation didn’t really require him specifically, though he did want to introduce Saski to him. Maybe show off his mate a little bit to an old friend. But there was Nanook’s kid, and his older pal, then shy-boy Dalus and maybe one more yearling around here? Any of them would probably do. He turned to beam at Saski, as laid-back as ever.
“You know I’m proud of you Beautiful.” He murmured, with a smile at Saski. Yeah, she definitely looked a little rounder around the middle, but in a totally cute way - probably not enough for anybody who didn’t know her to pick up on. God, nobody better ask her if she was chubby. He was pretty sure Saski would never forgive them for that.
“I know the Union didn’t turn out well. But before things went to shit we had some good times.” Sunfall sighed a bit wistfully. “Now, you mind me mentioning the fact we might be having kids? I don’t want to use them as an excuse or anything, but yeah, like I said I don’t wanna give anyone the wrong impression like we’re sticking around for good when we’re not planning to do that.” Sunfall rarely came up with anything resembling a scheme or even a plan. Pups needed safety and there was danger in the hills - they couldn’t just camp out somewhere in the open.
He reached out to nuzzle Saski. “And no rushing into any joining decisions, today, we just sound stuff out. After this we’ll hang, meet some more of the locals, see how we go.” He didn’t want there to be any pressure on her.
